Listen To Mental Health Podcasts Courtesy Of The DBSA

As I was browsing through the DBSA’s eUpdate for August, I noticed the Real Recovery Podcast, At Home with Wellness: Families & Recovery, which is supposed to offer a sneak peek at the DBSA’s upcoming “Power of Peers” National Conference.
I’m not attending the conference (aside from the fact that it’s all the way in Norfolk, VA, I have a NAMI affiliate meeting that Saturday), but I was still interested in getting the “sneak peek.” So, I clickety-clicked, and to my delight found a whole smörgåsbord of additional podcasts!
There are podcasts with doctors, advocates, and famous people with mental illnesses; podcasts with information for people who love someone with a mental illness; and podcasts dealing with specific mental illnesses like post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, and depression.
I can’t wait to listen to them!
You can go ahead and start tickling your eardrums at the Real Recovery Podcasts Session List, and if you listen to any that particularly stick out with you, feel free to share your thoughts here, as well.

[...] I didn’t post an edition of What Do You Really Want? on August 26 because I was at a funeral and opted instead for the pre-written DBSA podcast post. [...]
